It's been a promising start to the Trent Johnson era at LSU, but his Tigers took a left cross to the jaw Tuesday night, falling 91-61 at Utah.

LSU dropped to 12-2 with its worst loss of the season. Utah improved to 10-5.

The game that set up to be an upset, "close" according to head coach Trent Johnson, proved to be no obstacle for LSU.

The Tigers used a dominant second half performance to dismantle Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday night 90-61 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

HARTFORD, Conn. - The LSU women's basketball team gave top-ranked Connecticut all it could handle on Saturday, but the Huskies used a 16-2 run midway through the second half to outlast the Lady Tigers, 76-63, in front of 13,922 fans on Saturday at the XL Center.

HARTFORD, Conn. - The only two programs in NCAA women's basketball history to advance to five straight Final Fours will meet at 11 a.m. CST Saturday, as the LSU Lady Tigers travel to take on No. 1 Connecticut at the XL Center in Hartford.

The game will be televised nationally by CBS and can be heard in Baton Rouge on 107.3 FM and on www.LSUsports.net.
